Mobility Information Points
Mobility Information Points (MIP) are information centres and/or websites in several European countries, and one in the USA, who aim to tackle administrative challenges that artists and cultural professionals can face when working across borders. Relevant issues can be around visas, social security, taxation, customs etc. Know more about them and other resources to ease your mobility.

Mobility First! A special open call for artists working in conflict and post-conflict societies
The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), through its Mobility First! travel grant, and Cambodian Living Arts (CLA) are launching a special call for artists and cultural professionals working in conflict and post-conflict societies. To be eligible you need to be an Artist and/or cultural professional living and working in Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) countries, or an arts organisation based in an ASEM country. The travels can be Asia-Europe or intra Asia routes. Deadline: 15 February 2019.
Call for Under 35 Artists - promoted by Contact Zones
This call is promoted by “Contact Zones _performing arts in urban space”: an international and multidisciplinary project co-funded by Creative Europe Program (20*** > 2020). The project offers two types of opportunities: residencies and performances for artists below 35 years old within the scope of site-specific projects that develop in dialogue with the urban space / unconventional venues and interact with the local population or specific social groups. Deadline: 28 January 2019.
Baltic Culture Fund > Support for Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian Cultural Projects
The goal of the Baltic Culture Fund, founded on 8 July 20***, is to promote cultural cooperation between the Baltic countries and strengthen the internationalisation of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian culture through joint cultural projects and events. The Baltic Culture Fund will support professional events and projects in architecture, visual art, design, literature, sound art, performing arts, libraries, museums and archives. The Fund also welcomes interdisciplinary projects. Deadline: 20 May 2019.
performingborders | LIVE – Open call for proposals for 2 digital conversations on Live Art and borders
performingborders | LIVE 2019 is a programme of events and new commissions curated by Alessandra Cianetti and Xavier de Sousa and focusing on the exploration of artistic practices happening within the UK Live Art sector around notions of cultural, juridical, racial, gendered, class, physical and everyday borders. Everyone whose practice and research has been shaped by experiences of migration and borders is eligible and welcome to apply. The format of the digital conversations can take any form, including video, video text, text, digital collage, audio, interactive digital pieces, etc. The curators will work with the selected applicants to****ist the creation of the final piece.Deadline: 28 February 2019.
Apply for aspiring membership to Liveurope
Today, Liveurope unites 14 music venues which have together boosted the circulation of thousands of artists. In pursuit of expanding the network and enticing more venues to diversify their programming of emerging international acts, they are launching an open call for all European music venues to join the membership in an honorary status. Check the conditions and apply before the 22nd of February 2019.
FRESH STREET#3 – International Seminar for the Development of Street Arts (Ireland) > Open call for applications
Taking place May 22-24, 2019 in Galway, Ireland, FRESH STREET#3 will bring together artists, programmers, researchers, pedagogues, journalists, and policymakers from all over the globe for a multidimensional event focused on the development and promotion of street arts. Professional artists from all disciplines and genres wishing to work live and outdoors are eligible. Artists may be of any nationality. Deadline: 1 February 2019.
International Theatre Institute > Yearbook 20*** > Co_laboration
The ITI yearbook 20*** is addressing the issue of the condition and perspectives of artistic cooperation. Festival curators, ensemble directors and networkers report from their experience with international work. Contributors are among others: Chang Nai Wen, Martine Dennewald, Annika Hampel, Günther Heeg, Marta Keil, Krystel Khoury, Jens Van Lathem, Kerstin Ortmeier, Iulia PopoviciZoë Svendsen and Anmol Vellani.
Pro Helvetia > Studio residencies (Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Switzerland, Tunisia)
A studio residency (3 months) for Swiss artists, curators and cultural practitioners in the Arab region (to Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Lebanon) or, conversely, in Switzerland for artists, curators and cultural practitioners from the Arab region (from Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Lebanon). The Artists in Residence program started in Egypt in 2002. After being on hold for five years it was re-launched in 2017. The aim of the program is to enhance cultural exchange and artistic collaborations between Switzerland and the Arab region. Deadline: 1 March 2019.
AMARRE 2019 > Open call for applications
AMARRE aims to connect forcibly displaced artists (or artists in exile) to their host communities. It is a residency programme that provides a safe working space for the selected artists to develop their projects and share them with the local audience, as well as connect them to the professional networks in their new environments. Each local partner will host and accompany the selected artists in exile in the respective countries with the perspective of supporting a culture of openness, free expression and living together. This call is open to artists 1) of Syrian origin 2) currently in exile 3) in France / Turkey / Lebanon (performing arts / music). Deadline: 15 March 2019.

Open Call: Karavan and BNCN International Residency (Sweden)
Karavan is a performing arts collective of circus artists and musicians who “build our dream of an independent stage in an abandoned industrial hall in the middle of Malmö”. In collaboration with Baltic Nordic Circus Network and with support from Region Skåne the organisers are happy to announce a call out for a new residency opportunity. The call is open to all circus artists/circus companies with at least one person based in any of the Baltic or Nordic countries. Deadline: 4 February 2019.
4helix+ Project > Open call for participation (Portugal)
In the framework of its Call for EoI for Knowledge Providers, the 4helix+ Project is offering an extraordinary opportunity to creativity experts, open innovation communities, “manufacturers of ideas”, registered as the 4helix+ Knowledge Providers, to participate free of charge in the 4helix+ Blue Bootcamp in Lisbon on February 7th and 8th, 2019. Deadline: 23 January 2019.

Born as a website, it has evolved into a dynamic network which now includes 45+ member organisations in Europe and internationally.
